Clinical Supervision
With expertise in trauma, eating disorders, neurodivergence (Autism & ADHD), and LGBTQIA2S+ community needs, I provide guidance grounded in anti-oppressive, anti-racist, and social justice principles. My integrative, developmental supervision model creates a safe and empowering space for you to grow as a clinician and deepen your practice.
Let’s work together to strengthen your confidence, clinical skills, and impact, ensuring you feel fully supported in your journey as a social worker.
Clinical Supervision for Social Workers: A Collaborative and Empowering Approach
Are you a social worker looking for supportive guidance as you work toward your LCSW? I offer clinical supervision that is designed to help you navigate your caseload, build clinical competencies, and prepare for licensure. Each session is personalized to focus on your specific needs, experience, and goals. The aim is to create a supportive space where you can engage deeply with your work, refine your clinical skills, and build confidence in your decision-making.
Supervision Modalities and Structure
To meet Colorado’s LCSW licensure requirements, individual clinical supervision is required at a ratio of one hour for every 20 hours of client contact. While this is the minimum, I encourage you to schedule additional sessions if you feel more frequent support would enhance your practice.
Each supervision session lasts 55 minutes, giving us time to dive deeply into your caseload, track your progress toward licensure, and address any challenges you’re facing.
Our sessions will be interactive, incorporating case conceptualization, verbal reporting, role-plays, and, where appropriate, audio or video reviews (with client consent).
These dynamic approaches are designed to give you valuable insights into your therapeutic style, strengthen your clinical skills, and guide you in ethical decision-making. Above all, the goal is to help you feel confident and fully supported as you grow and evolve in your practice.
Specializations
As a social worker in supervision with me, you will benefit from my expertise in a number of key areas:
✅ Trauma & Complex PTSD: I specialize in trauma-informed care, helping you understand and navigate the complexities of trauma and its impact on individuals. This includes working with survivors of childhood trauma, complex PTSD, medical trauma, racial trauma, and other forms of systemic oppression.
✅ Eating Disorders: My body-liberation framework rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES) helps clients heal from body-based trauma, and I will support you in gaining skills to work with individuals challenged by disordered eating, fatphobia, and diet culture.
✅ Neurodivergence (Autism & ADHD): Working with neurodivergent clients (e.g., individuals with Autism and ADHD) is one of my specialties. I use a neurodiversity-affirming approach that respects and celebrates each client’s unique strengths and challenges.
✅ LGBTQIA2S+ Support: Providing sex-positive and affirming care for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals is central to my practice. Together, we will explore ways to provide effective, inclusive support for clients navigating issues of sexual and gender identity.
✅ Depression and Anxiety: With my extensive experience in working with depression and anxiety, we will explore strategies for emotional regulation, coping mechanisms, and behavioral interventions, all while creating a supportive, compassionate space for your clients.

My Clinical Experience and Training
I bring a wealth of clinical experience to supervision, having worked across diverse settings including private practice, residential treatment centers, outpatient rehabilitation, and hospice care. This broad experience enables me to offer practical insights and a well-rounded perspective on clinical work, which is essential for supporting you in your journey to becoming an LCSW.
Additionally, I have recently completed a 45-hour Clinical Supervision Training accredited by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE), which has provided me with the foundation to be an effective supervisor. I am currently working toward the Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential to further enhance my supervisory practice.
