What This Group Offers You
Over the course of 12 weekly sessions (90 minutes each), you’ll gain essential DBT skills that you can apply immediately in your everyday life. These include:
✅ Mindfulness – Stay grounded and present, even when life feels chaotic
✅ Emotion Regulation – Understand and manage overwhelming emotions more effectively
✅ Distress Tolerance – Cope with difficult situations without making things worse
✅ Interpersonal Effectiveness – Communicate your needs clearly, set healthy boundaries, and improve your relationships
Each session begins with a brief check-in, where you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on the previous week’s skill and how it worked for you. From there, we’ll introduce a new skill, practice it together in the group, and explore how to adapt it to fit your real-life needs. You’ll leave each session with clear guidance on how to use the skill throughout your week—and we’ll celebrate your wins and work through any challenges together.
You’ll also receive individualized support in tailoring the skills to your personal goals, and each session will contribute meaningfully toward your overall treatment plan—supporting your journey toward reduced anxiety, improved stress management, and healthier relationships.
